Instant wins and scratch reveals for WordPress
raffleWP runs instant-win competitions inside WordPress and WooCommerce. Connect prizes to ticket outcomes, show a prize board, record awards and automatically issue eligible site credit. The optional Instant Win Reveals addon adds a scratch-card presentation to those confirmed results.
What you can do
Prize boards and award records
Configure instant prizes and show the prize information on the competition page. Each confirmed winning ticket connects to its award record and fulfilment workflow.
Automatic site credit
Enable automatic instant-win site credit to issue eligible credit when the win is processed. Customer credit records stay connected to the award, with email restrictions on the credit.
Optional scratch-card experience
Install the included Instant Win Reveals addon to let customers scratch with touch or a mouse, or use accessible reveal controls. The addon presents the stored result.
Awarding a prize and revealing a result are different
The core plugin processes the confirmed ticket and establishes its instant-win outcome. The reveal addon then presents that saved outcome on the customer’s supported result views. Scratching is not another draw and does not decide whether a ticket wins.
Revealing a card does not change a losing ticket into a winner, consume a second prize or issue duplicate credit. It also does not postpone award processing, notifications or private prize claims. A winner’s rights do not depend on completing an animation.
Reveal progress is saved so supported visits across devices can retain the customer’s progress. Historical orders keep their existing presentation; installing the addon does not rewrite earlier outcomes.
An example instant-win workflow
- Create a competition and configure its instant-prize definitions, ticket range and customer-facing prize board. Check the prize descriptions and fulfilment choices before opening entries.
- Confirm a test order. Review the ticket outcome and award in admin, then check the customer’s result view and notification. Confirm a postal-entry example if you use that route.
- For an eligible site-credit prize, check that automatic credit is enabled and that the credit is issued once to the correct customer email. Site credit is spendable on the store under its configured rules; it is not a bank payment.
- For a physical prize, cash prize or voucher, follow the applicable claim and fulfilment process. If the scratch addon is installed, test scratch and Reveal All with keyboard, touch and mouse.

Common questions
Are scratch reveals included in the core plugin?
Instant-win processing is a core feature. Scratch presentation comes from the separately installed Instant Win Reveals addon, included with every current licence.
Is automatic site credit the same as cash payout?
No. Site credit is a store credit record for the customer. Cash prizes and cash alternatives are paid manually by the organiser.
Must customers scratch to receive a prize?
No. The confirmed outcome and award exist independently of the reveal. Accessible controls provide another way to display the saved result.
