Start with a packaged style variation, then customise the colours, typography, logo and layout in WordPress. No separate page builder is required.
LIGHT
Clear, bright and spacious.
Pale backgrounds and blue accents give your prizes room to stand out.
DARK
A deeper backdrop for your prizes.
Dark surfaces and lighter accents bring a different feel to the same editable layouts.
The live demo opens in Light and has a visitor-only appearance switch so you can compare both styles. On your own site, choose your variation in Appearance → Editor → Styles. The demo’s preview switch is separate from the supplied theme.
A setup process you control
Prepare it first. Apply it when you’re ready.
Activating the Starter Site addon leaves your current theme and homepage in place. You decide when to apply the new site.
- Install the addon. Download Starter Site from My licences and activate it alongside WooCommerce and raffleWP.
- Choose a starting point. Open RaffleWP → Starter Site, select Light or Dark and install the bundled theme.
- Import your layouts. Choose layouts only, or layouts with six demo competitions. Imported pages remain drafts until you apply them.
- Review and apply. Apply starter site activates the theme, publishes the imported pages and assigns the homepage and navigation.

Learn from a prize without opening it for entries.
The six imported competitions are protected demos. They show images and example settings, but cannot accept entries or create real tickets, orders or winners.
When you are ready to create a real competition, use Create competition from example. It creates a separate draft for your own prize details, dates and entry requirements, followed by the normal launch checks.
Our public demo also includes fictional winners, a read-only admin tour and local ticket previews. These are demonstration features; the standard starter import does not create entrant or winner records.

What to know before you start.
Is Starter Site included with my licence?
Yes. The Starter Site addon and bundled theme are included with a current raffleWP licence. Download the addon from My licences; no separate addon purchase is needed.
Do I have to change my existing theme?
No. Starter Site is optional. Installing and activating the addon does not switch your theme. Applying the starter site is an explicit step that activates the bundled theme and its imported pages.
What do I need to run it?
Starter Site 1.0.0 requires WordPress 6.7 or later, WooCommerce 9.9 or later, raffleWP 1.5.3 or later, PHP 7.4 or later and a current raffleWP licence. Your hosting must support WebP processing. You install it with an administrator account.
Can I edit the design after setup?
Yes. Edit individual pages in Gutenberg, and use the Site Editor for styles, headers, footers and templates. The addon’s updates do not rerun the importer or replace your database-saved Gutenberg customisations.
Is this the same as the website build service?
