Building a competition website should not mean stitching together a product plugin, a ticket-number tool, a countdown, a winner page and a spreadsheet. raffleWP brings the essential parts into one WordPress and WooCommerce workflow—while leaving you in control of the design and the way you operate each draw.
What is raffleWP?
raffleWP is a WordPress competition plugin. In everyday terms, it turns a WooCommerce product into a competition with a closing date, a finite pool of numbered entries and the tools needed to manage those entries after checkout.
You create the prize as a normal product, switch on the raffleWP product type and configure the entry rules. Customers can then read about the prize, choose their entry quantity or available numbers, pay through your WooCommerce checkout and find their confirmed entries in their account.
The simple version
WordPress manages the content. WooCommerce manages the order. raffleWP manages the competition entries around it.
Built around the way modern WordPress sites are made
raffleWP is a plugin rather than a complete theme. That distinction matters: it gives you competition functionality without forcing every customer into the same website design. Use the native block editor to place competition listings, entry panels, countdowns, prize information, winner records and account content wherever they fit your site.
The Design, Labels and Product Page settings give non-developers control over colours, fonts, wording, spacing and the sections shown on a single competition product. Individual blocks also carry their own presentation options. A bespoke theme may still need some CSS refinement, but the starting point is deliberately editable.
What the core plugin handles
- Competition products: Configure opening and closing dates, ticket pools, entry prices, customer limits and product-specific terms.
- Entry choices: Offer lucky-dip allocation, manual number selection and quantity bundles with optional savings.
- Reliable allocation: Reserve numbers through checkout, confirm them after payment and keep the order and entry records connected.
- Instant wins: Assign instant prizes to entry numbers and manage the resulting awards and fulfilment records.
- Customer accounts: Let customers review active and historical entries, wins and downloadable ticket details.
- Postal entries: Optionally publish a free postal route and process valid entries into the same numbered pool as paid entries.
- Operational records: Filter and export entries, review important actions in the audit trail and maintain winner and prize records.
- Winner workflow: Export an eligible entry pool for your chosen draw method, or use the optional built-in selector when it suits your process.
raffleWP does not try to make legal or operational decisions on your behalf. You decide where you operate, how your terms are written and how winners are selected. The plugin gives you the components and records needed to put that process into practice.
Optional addons, using the same licence
The core stays focused on running competitions. Separate addons provide extra marketing and engagement tools, and every currently available addon is included with an active raffleWP licence.
Popup Maker
Create timed promotional popups and controlled WooCommerce coupon offers.
Prize Draw Reminders
Let interested visitors request a one-off reminder shortly before a competition closes.
Daily Spin
Add a configurable reward wheel using site credit and WooCommerce discounts.
Documentation when you want detail, support when you need a person
The raffleWP documentation covers installation, product setup, blocks, entries, payments, instant wins, addons, privacy and release updates. It is designed to be useful both during a first build and later when you need the exact behaviour of a setting.
If your question is specific to your site, use the Support page. Bespoke templates, integrations and custom code can also be discussed separately; standard support does not automatically include custom development.
Who is raffleWP for?
raffleWP is for independent competition operators, agencies and WordPress developers who want to own the website and customer journey instead of renting an inflexible hosted platform. It is particularly suited to teams already comfortable with WordPress and WooCommerce, but the main competition workflow does not require writing code.
