The RaffleWP Launch checklist helps you prepare a WordPress competition website for its first launch. Open RaffleWP → Dashboard, expand the checklist and select a competition. It brings site setup and competition readiness into one view, with outstanding actions and links to the settings that need attention.
What does the launch checklist check?
- WooCommerce pages, entry methods, ticket limits and configured bundles.
- Competition dates, WordPress timezone, instant-prize settings and terms links.
- Email configuration and the last successful maintenance runs, including retention. A task being scheduled does not prove it has completed.
- The selected competition’s publication checks. Unsafe product configurations still block first publication.
Preview the actual competition page
Use Mobile, Tablet and Desktop to inspect the real competition page at 375, 768 and 1440 pixels. Check the entry controls, bundle prices, countdown, terms and prize information. These previews show the page layout; they do not make a purchase.
Send sample emails and confirm delivery
Send labelled test ticket and winner emails to an address you choose. The samples do not create orders, allocate tickets, issue credit or create prize claims. A successful send means the mail system accepted the message. Only confirm inbox receipt after you have checked that it arrived.
Complete a test purchase
- Prefer a staging site and enable your payment gateway’s own test mode.
- Complete the customer checkout, then inspect the WooCommerce order and allocated entries.
- Test failed, delayed, abandoned and refunded orders where relevant. Check classic checkout and the Checkout Block if you use both.
- Confirm the purchase walkthrough only after checking the order and entries yourself.
Do confirmations stay valid after settings change?
Relevant changes to the competition, site or gateway settings invalidate earlier confirmations. Checks record timestamps, and owner confirmations record who confirmed them. Recheck changed settings before launch. You can dismiss the checklist and reopen it later.
