Settings can show an Anonymous draw preference checkbox at checkout. The stored preference does not affect eligibility or odds; it controls whether public winner output uses an anonymous label instead of a shortened name.
- Customers can update their display preference from My entries; postal processing includes an equivalent anonymous-request field.
- RaffleWP adds suggested privacy-policy text covering tickets, postal data, awards, logs, IP addresses, user agents and licensing calls.
- The WordPress exporter includes ticket, award, audit, site-credit, licence and activation data associated with the request.
- Completed-raffle personal fields can be anonymised while ticket numbers, order IDs, prize records, timestamps and draw integrity are retained.
- Open raffle records, undrawn closed raffles, usable credit and active licence data are retained when still required, and the erasure result reports why.
- An erasure request does not revoke otherwise usable site credit.
- RaffleWP data is preserved on uninstall unless an administrator explicitly enables data removal.
The plugin’s tools support administration but do not determine your lawful basis, notices, retention period, disclosure duties or response procedure. Obtain appropriate advice for your jurisdiction.
Prize claim details and publication consent
Claim records include the details needed to fulfil a prize and the winner’s separate testimonial and photo permissions. WordPress privacy export and erasure cover claims and consent. Information needed for outstanding fulfilment is retained while required; eligible completed or cancelled records follow the retention lifecycle.
Claim links are private, expire by default after seven days and rotate on resend. Tokens are stored as hashes, and tokens and delivery details are excluded from audit messages. Claim pages send no-cache, noindex and no-referrer headers. Configure upstream caches to respect these private-page controls.
Detailed public results use masked winner names and exclude private contact and delivery details. Story and photo publication require recorded consent and approval. Consent withdrawal removes them from RaffleWP displays and future artwork exports; operators remain responsible for copies already posted or downloaded elsewhere. Read the public results workflow.
