Paid update checks initialise only when a real licence key is active on the current site. RaffleWP asks rafflewp.co.uk for the active release manifest and exposes a newer compatible package through the normal WordPress Plugins and Dashboard Updates screens.
- Back up files and the database before updating.
- Read release notes and test on staging when the site is taking live entries.
- Click Update now in WordPress; customers do not need to download the release again from their account.
- Update downloads use a 15-minute authorised package link and a published SHA-256 checksum for integrity checks.
- After updating, check the licence status, scheduled events, product entry controls, checkout and account endpoints.
- Run a syntax and cache check if the update was installed manually.
- Do not overwrite theme or plugin files with unverified packages.
