Create or edit a WooCommerce product and choose Raffle as the product type. Alternatively, the Raffle product-data tab can enable the giveaway engine on a normal Simple product.
Core product fields
- Ticket price synchronises to the WooCommerce regular price; use zero for free online entry.
- Prize RRP supplies the prize performance and won-prize-value reports.
- Total tickets defines the numbered range available to all online and postal entrants.
- Public giveaway note appears in the product panel and compatible blocks.
- Default terms URL can be overridden for an individual product with Terms URL override.
Publish with the product checklist
The RaffleWP launch checklist meta box validates the closing date, ticket pool, enabled entry methods, quantity limits, bundle rows and instant-prize totals. Unsafe configurations block first publication; terms and email items are operator warnings rather than universal legal rules.
Free online entry requires the customer to log in or create an account. A free postal route is configured separately and does not create a WooCommerce order.
Save a competition preset or create another like it
Use Starter kits → Reusable competitions, the product editor’s competition tools or the product-list actions to save a named preset and create another competition. This is useful when you repeat the same entry rules, bundle quantities or instant-prize structure.
The new competition is always a draft. It can copy content, images, pricing, bundles, entry settings, instant-prize definitions, fulfilment choices and planning inputs. Dates are cleared and ticket availability is reset. Entries, orders, winners, draw history, awards, claims, notification flags and campaign links are not copied. The same RaffleWP cleanup applies to WooCommerce’s standard Duplicate action.
Set the prize’s fulfilment options
Choose a Main-prize fulfilment type and decide whether to enable automatic prize claim invitations. Existing competitions default to Other and automatic invitations are opt-in. Read how winner claims and fulfilment work.
Use the cost planner to keep the actual prize cost separate from its advertised RRP, then complete the Launch checklist before publishing.
