raffleWP – Instant Win Reveals 1.0.0 adds an accessible scratch card for each eligible purchased competition ticket. This optional addon is included with every raffleWP licence and requires WooCommerce and raffleWP 1.4.0 or later.
Install and enable the addon
- Update the core raffleWP plugin to 1.4.0 or later and check that its licence is active.
- Download Instant Win Reveals from My licences. Upload its ZIP through Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin and activate it.
- Edit a competition and open its raffle product options. Tick Enable scratch-card reveals. It is off by default and applies to new checkout orders only.
- Optionally set the cover colour, Media Library artwork attachment ID and cover wording. Use Preview scratch card, then save the competition.
What customers see
On the order confirmation and order details pages, customers scratch with a mouse or touch, use the keyboard-operated Reveal this ticket button, or select Reveal all. Cards are grouped by competition and displayed 24 at a time. Reveal all processes the eligible order in small batches, and saved progress follows the order across devices.
A pending payment or unfinished prize processing remains pending. A losing result says there is no instant win on that ticket and separately describes its current main-draw status. Customers can return through their existing My Entries and order links.
Prizes do not depend on scratching
Core raffleWP determines ticket results. Revealing never allocates entries, changes a result, creates another award or issues extra credit. Winner emails and automatic site credit remain immediate, and scratching is never required to claim or receive a prize.
Ordinary ticket and prize information stays accessible beneath the cards. If JavaScript, Canvas or artwork fails, or the addon is deactivated, customers can use those ordinary details. Registered customers must own the order; guests complete WooCommerce’s order verification.
Updates and privacy
The addon uses the licence entered in core and has its own version, download and WordPress update notice. Publishing or updating core does not install it automatically. A current licence is required for downloads, settings and updates; existing activated functionality follows raffleWP’s annual-expiry policy.
Reveal timestamps are covered by WordPress personal-data export and erasure. Keep order pages and private result requests out of page caching. Before launch, test guest access, a winning and losing instant ticket, delayed payment, mobile layout and the ordinary-information fallback.
