RaffleWP can publish a permanent, approved result page after a manual or random draw. Detailed results begin as drafts, so the administrator can check the winners, entry total and public information before sharing the page.
Review and publish a detailed result
- Complete the draw or record the selected winner in RaffleWP → Winners. RaffleWP prepares a draft detailed result.
- Review the competition and prize details, closing and selection dates, confirmed entry total, winning tickets and masked winner names.
- Add an optional replay link and preview the page.
- Approve publication when the details are correct. The result receives a permanent public page.
Existing historical draws are not published automatically. You can explicitly prepare a historical draft; where the original selection method cannot be reliably established, the page displays it as unspecified. New winners record their individual manual or random method, including draws that use both.
Display approved results on your website
Add the Draw Results block to list approved detailed results. The optional starter Winners and Results pages already use it. Completed competition displays gain a link when a detailed result has been published.
Existing basic winner displays keep their behaviour. The Winners block can show site-wide or product-specific records and excludes site-credit instant wins. Public names use a shortened name or the entrant’s anonymous preference; private email and delivery details are not part of the public result.
Add a testimonial or winner photo
Testimonial and photo consent are separate, optional choices in the prize claim workflow. Administrators add photos they have permission to use. A story or photo needs both recorded consent and publication approval. Withdrawing consent removes that content from RaffleWP displays and future artwork exports. Previously downloaded or externally posted copies remain under the operator’s control.
What happens if a winner changes?
Winner changes return the affected detailed result to review. RaffleWP checks current winner data when rendering results and retains revisions and audit events. Review and republish the corrected result before sharing it again. Use replacements or redraws only under your published rules and record the reason.
Once approved, use the promotion kit to prepare winner artwork. RaffleWP does not automatically run a draw when a competition closes.
